Thinking I might create a new Tumblr page…
EMS isn’t the only thing that consumes my life now, and that’s what I originally intended this page to be. If anyone would like my new page, just message me. It’s going to be more personal and more about me as a person, instead of an EMT.

…and did you know that the reason why the dress blues are blue with red stitching is because during the Revolutionary war the Americans took the red coats with blue stitching off of the English soldiers and turned them inside out, which reversed the color scheme? My Marine told me that one.

“Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Stacy Hunt spends one last moment with her husband before departing on a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan’s Helmand province on Marine Corps Base Kanehoe Bay in Hawaii, Aug. 28, 2011.”
As a Nation, we talk of supporting our troops, sending our boys off to war, remembering the men who wear the uniform. But we often forget our women who proudly wear our Nation’s uniform as well. When talking about our troops, please remember that women fight too, that women leave behind their families too, and that women don’t come home too.

Dave and mine’s gift to his Uncle and Wife for their wedding tomorrow!! This is the second time I’ve made this gift as a wedding gift, and by and large, this one turned out so much better then the other one. I’m actually excited to give them this gift! Dave is also giving them a book about the Air Wing division of the Marine Corps since that’s what his Uncle is doing. (He’s technically Dave’s Uncle, but the kid is younger then Dave is…it’s his Stepmom’s brother, and he’s adopted, that’s why.)

God fucking damnit…
Excuse my french, but I’m beyond frustrated and I don’t know how to let go. I need a job, not because we need the money (though the security of a pay check would be nice) but because I’m going crazy!!! I can’t stand being here at the house all the fucking time! I sold my little car because, well, I hated it. But I haven’t bought a new one because, well, I don’t need one. I have no job, no life, no friends, no nothing here that requires me to go anywhere except on Tuesdays nights when I can take Dave’s truck…now that’s a mistake. I really don’t want to give the keys back. I love his truck, but he earned it, literally, he bought it for himself after his 1st deployment to Iraq. He deserves to have an amazing truck. I on the other hand, I’ve done nothing with my life to deserve something like that…I’m trying to though. Yea yea, I understand that it’s not my fault that no one is hiring and the economy sucks worse then a whore, but come on!!! I could/will never be a stay at home mom. Never.
</rant>
On a side note, I found almost the truck of my dreams on sale for a reasonable price! AH!!!

…and another book that changed my life. This is the book that started my thought process of joining the military. I read this book when I was in middle school.

The test speaks for itself.

AMCI Testing (an independent company) of Chevrolet Silverado HD, Ford Super Duty, and Dodge Ram HD
The Passing Test
The Ford does have better numbers in torque and horsepower produced by the engine, there is a greater loss of power through the drivetrain. The engines of the Ford and Chevrolet are very close in numbers, however the Allison transmission is very smooth for power transmission and there are few losses.
The Dodge is just horrible in every category.
This is for the 2011 models and any of the three trucks could have the best truck next year.

Friday Night by Brantely Gilbert
Going to Dave’s high school football game Friday night against their rivals. This song reminds me of all the times Dave talks about playing football for them.
Speaking of 4x4, people need to learn that there IS a difference between 4x4 and AWD. I promise you, there is a difference…
